A cozy hotel dating from the 14th century in central Rostock. Old style of decor. Lovely hostess who did everything to make our stay good. The beds could have been better and a fridge in the room is also never wrong. Too bad it was Corona times when we were there because the pub was closed 🍻🍷🥂👍
Rooms were clean. Hygiene was observed due to the corona situation. Receptionist at the same time also serving (Polish woman) was very friendly. Breakfast menu was varied and fresh.
"Old divider" room recommended 😎
Something very special
Centrally located, super nice, rustic and cozy. Very nice reception. Would love to come back.
Very incompetent from front to back! Not recommended
Very nice staff, good breakfast. Quiet atmosphere and location, nevertheless central. Not modern, but old-fashioned. TV could be bigger, but that's not what I was there for. The room was clean, bathroom too. There is a night entrance where you can let yourself in and out.
Small charming hotel in the historic Krahnstöver house in the center of Rostock. Family run hotel with a very personal approach.
A great hotel, very centrally located. The house has a lot of charm. Our room was huge. Everything is OK. The breakfast was delicious and perfectly adequate. The service very courteous and always friendly. Highly recommended.
The hotel exceeded my expectations. The room was huge, the staff very friendly and the breakfast sumptuous. I will gladly come again
Unique historic hotel. Our room was very large with sofa and golden mirror. The bathroom also wonderful. Everything was very clean. The breakfast was great and the receptionist, which also served breakfast (with scrambled eggs) and even cleaned the rooms, but still very relaxed and very friendly. A nice memory of Rostock. The restaurant, which has nothing to do with the hotel, is highly recommended.
Very atmospheric. One of the oldest buildings in the city. Cozy
Staying in one of Rostock's oldest houses alone has charm. In addition, this small house is centrally located and has individually tailored rooms and a cozy breakfast room. Anyone who wants to eat or drink in the evening can do this very well next door in the liqueur factory or the pub. The old town or the city harbor are also within easy walking distance.
Very nice individual hotel directly in the monument. For those who prefer a bit more space, I recommend Business Suite Room 6. Loved it.
The historic hotel has a great charm. Unfortunately, there is no hotel parking. The surrounding parking spaces are rather rare in an old town. I therefore recommend this hotel rather less for business people who are only looking for a bed for the night. Due to the many stairs without elevator, the hotel is only partially suitable for people with walking problems.
Oldest hotel in Rostock. Very interesting infrastructure. Good hospitality
The location is great for exploring the center of Rostock on foot. Otherwise the hotel disappointed us: The "double" room (room number 4) is too small for two people. The hotel is not suitable for allergy sufferers or sensitive people. We had mold in the joints in the bathroom, mold on the shower head and the dust load was also very high. Through the uninsulated connecting door to the neighboring room, you could hear all the noises (conversation, television, toilets, etc.). Sleeping in was not possible. The bed has a high foot end so that people who are 1.95 cm or more cannot sleep in it. The soap dispenser in the bathroom did not work. Conclusion: The price-performance ratio is not right here!
A very nice and cozy house with a long history, which the host gladly passes on. The room was lovely and individually decorated. Both the host couple and the staff were very friendly and service-oriented. Ben receipt gave it a small history to the history of the house. At the breakfast the wishes of the guests were gladly fulfilled. A hotel where you like to come back.
Amazing building. Historic 13th century construction. Only six rooms. The reception closes as 7 so if you need anything after that you need to phone the manager. Room was amazing.
A real dream. The flair of a few centuries is indescribable. The service by owner and staff gives the whole a special charm. We felt more than comfortable and come back at any time gladly here.
A quirky little place with wonderful hosts. Not cheap, but worth the money if you want to stay somewhere slightly different. The breakfast was plentiful and the location is good too. One piece of advice though: make sure to ask for anything you need during the hours the reception is open. The place does not have 24/7 service so if you discover _ as we did _ that the bedroom doesn't have curtains, it's best to see during the day whether staff can do something about it, rather than waiting till evening when it's too late.
Nice friendly welcome. Got the room five, it goes over two floors. But you have to be careful if you are a bit taller, because otherwise you run against the crossbeams. The room and bathroom were clean. Problems: Had to adjust the TV itself, since no programs were available, further, the wireless did not work. The nice receptionist was completely overwhelmed with the situation. The breakfast has made up for some, we served at the place. The owner apologized in the morning for the problems, there was probably a power failure. Therefore, I can only award four stars.
Sensational, loving, romantic We felt very comfortable in the oldest house in the city. The dedication of the owners to the guest, the building and the service is second to none. Very quiet rooms, although centrally located. Modern furnished and still romantic. The breakfast is freshly prepared and served directly at the table, here nothing to be desired. 5 star service. We come back to everyone
Service great Location beautiful
